Doing it right the first time!

Hello  and  welcome  to  Paulie  T  Designs,  I’m  Paulie.    As  just  a  little  kid  in  diapers  I  would  watch my  dad  build  things.    Seeing  a  bag  of  bolts  and  a  pile  of  metal  and  wood  transform  into  a  huge  swing  set  for  my  siblings  was  absolutely  amazing!    

As  I  was  growing  up  I  would  constantly work  on  and  build  things.    Building  a  go-cart  at  7  was  the  start  of  my  career  lol.    Then  the  summer  when  I  was  8,  I  built  a  massive  treehouse.    I  was  a  neighborhood hit with  the  kids,  but  not  so  much  with  the  parents  due  to  my  loud  go-cart.    

I   took  shop  and  metal  classes  throughout  elementary,  middle,  and  high  school.    Following  high  school  I  went  to  enlist  in  the  military  only  to  be  turned  away  due  to  having  flat  feet.    I  decided  at  that  moment  to  pursue  construction.

I  started  at  the  very  bottom   cleaning  job sites  and  carrying  materials  all  over  the  sites.    I  progressed   from  there  listening  and  learning  all  I  could.     I  moved  my  way  up  the  ladder  quickly  landing  me  into  a  project  manager  position.    The  last  company  I  worked   for  I  managed  crews  of  100+  employees  working  on  extensive  multi  million  dollar  rehabs.    

In  my  years  in  construction  I  have  seen  many  things  where  I  did  not  agree  with  and  the  industry  standard  is  get  it  done  as  quick  as  possible  as  long  as  its  passable.    

I  do  not  agree  with  this  and  I  actually  take  pride  in  my  work.    I  will  never  take  short  cuts  or  do  something  that  is  considered  “good  enough”.    I  will  only  do  things  one  way,  the  right  way!    I  work  on  every  job as  if  it  were  for  me  and  it  is  my  house.    I  have  respect  for  my  customers  homes,  as  well  as  their  time  and  money.    

I  am  the  one  that  you  will  be  in  contact  with  as  well  as  who  does  the  job.    I  do  not  sub  anything  out.    Occasionally  my  17  year  old  son  comes  along  to  learn  and  to  help. 

If  you   truly  want  the  best,  you  have  come  to  the  right  guy.    I  am  not  the  cheapest  around,  but  I  am  fair.    If  there  is  a  way  to  do  a  job  correctly  while  saving  money ,  I  will  let  you  know.    End  result  is  I  want  YOU  to  be  happy.
